First-Day Hike with One-of-a-Kind View in Poughkeepsie, New York
Lucky for all of us there just so happened to be a First Day Hike on the Walkway Over the Hudson. You can decide if you want to walk from the Dutchess County side at Parker Avenue or if you'd rather you can start in Highland on Haviland Road.
The great thing about this hike is it is complimentary and open to all so no need to get a ticket. Just show up at 1 PM for a group walk to the center of the bridge where they have planned giveaways and fun for all who decide to walk.
