Unsettled weather for the weekend, as a series of disturbances ahead of a cold front will bring showers or a threat for showers over the Hudson Valley for Saturday.  Also, a risk for some thunderstorms as well.  It continues to be hot on Saturday, with temps around 80.

The cold front brings much needed relief.  Sunday, you’ll notice the chance with cooler weather.  We’ll keep a chance of showers in the forecast, but not bad a Saturday.  Once we get past that front, it will be cooler and dry as we head into next week. The question is how long with that dry weather last?

Here’s the forecast from the National Weather Service:

Saturday:  Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms.  High near 81.

Saturday night:  Mostly cloudy, low around 65.  A chance of showers.

Sunday:  Mostly cloudy, high near 77.  A chance of showers.

Sunday night:  Mostly cloudy, low near 61, a chance of showers.

Monday:  Partly sunny, high near 77.
