The Hudson Valley has made some unique appearances on different social media accounts in the past few weeks.

Just last week an intoxicated clown from Poughkeepsie made it onto the popular Instagram and Facebook page of Humans of New York.

This week it's mans best friend getting some much needed attention.

If you're a dog lover like me then you're probably familiar with the Instagram account called The Dogist. According to their Facebook page The Dogist is "a photo-documentary series about the beauty of dogs."

On Tuesday, August 14th, they captured the beauty of two Hudson Valley dogs on Main Street in Beacon.

Red and Sam, who are the featured pups, are 5 and 9 years old. The Facebook post explains "Red is scared of thunder and lightning. Sam has been blind for three years – he had glaucoma and had both eyes removed for comfort. As long as there’s nothing in his way, he can make a beeline from our apartment to the ice cream shop. He’s a ladies’ man too.”

Just look at these two Hudson Valley cuties:

If you're in Beacon make sure to keep an eye out for this dynamic duo.

And if you're a sucker for beautiful pictures of dogs from all over the world The Dogist has a book titled The Dogist: Photographic Encounters with 1,000 Dogs. It is currently available on Amazon and where all books are sold. You can also keep up with them on Instagram with the handle: thedogist.
