After 47 years, the owners of a Main Street Beacon restaurant have announced they have closed after a change in ownership.

A popular bank has informed its customers that it is planning to close one of its branches before the end of this year.

A new wine and dessert bar home to wine, art and a possible ghost that loves a glass of "Savvy B" is opening on Main Street in Beacon.
