State Police say a lengthy investigation and a search warrant yielded stolen motorcycle parts, drugs, and several thousand dollars in cash. A Hudson Valley teenager and 20-year-old were arrested.

On December 7, 2015, a resident in Hamptonburgh advertised the sale of two dirt bikes on Craigslist. Both bikes were stolen shortly after showing the bikes to a potential customer. State Police say similar thefts were being investigated in Ulster County.

A joint investigation revealed a common IP Address associated with items being listed on Craigslist. A forensic analysis of the phone calls and cell phone revealed a common address in Middletown. Authorities say a further investigation led to a search warrant in the Town of Wallkill.

According to Police the search warrant led to the discovery of approximately 9 ounces of marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, several thousand dollars cash, stolen dirt bike parts from the original Hamptonburgh larceny and an assortment of "fruity pebbles treats" believed to be traced with an illegal substance. The "treats" are being analyzed by the New York State Police Lab.
