I am a music fan. If you were to look at my music collection, you would see a very eclectic collection of artists, albums, and songs. In fact, when I was single I arranged my music by mood. If I was sad, I had certain songs I'd listen to, the same for angry, happy etc. I knew which songs to grab when I needed them. When I got married, this drove my husband crazy and our collection is now alphabetical, which makes me crazy, but that's a story for another time.

I love discovering new artists, new-to-me artists, historical recordings, amazing covers, powerful tributes, you name it I will listen to it. So with all of this in mind, I thought I'd share some of my music with you in hopes that you will share some of your music with me. That's how Tunesday Tuesday was born.

Each week I'll highlight a song, artist, or album that has captured my attention. This week, Brandy Clark is the artist to listen to.

Brandy is a singer/songwriter, in fact, some her songs have been recorded by Miranda Lambert (Mama's Broken Heart), The Band Perry (Better Dig Two), Kacey Musgraves (Follow Your Arrow-which won the CMA song of the yea in 2014), Billy Currington, Reba McEntire, and more. She always dreamed of being an artist in her own right. She released her debut album three years ago, '12 Stories', which would go on to be nominated for a Grammy and a CMA award.

She's back with her second album, 'Big Day in a Small Town', and if the first single is any indication, we are all about to hear a lot more from her. I am loving this one,  'Girl Next Door'

What do you think? What are you listening to this week? What songs do you want me to hear? Let me know and I'll see you back here next week for another Tunesday Tuesday.
