I am a music fan first and foremost. I am very lucky to have music be such a big part of my work life and I have a very eclectic music collection of artists, albums, and songs.

I love discovering new artists, new-to-me artists, historical recordings, amazing covers, powerful tributes, you name it I will listen to it. So with all of this in mind, I thought I’d share some of my music with you in hopes that you will share some of your music with me. That’s how Tunesday Tuesday came to be.

Each week I’ll highlight a song, artist, or album that has captured my attention. This week, it's all about the playlist and a variety of artists that I am listening to on repeat.

Up first, Eric Paslay. I have been a fan from the beginning and am still bummed that I didn't get to see him when he came to the Dutchess County Fair. I may have another chance this June, as he will be at this summer's Taste of Country Music Festival, June 10-12 at Hunter Mountain. I can not get enough of this song.

Eric Church needs no introduction or fancy words from the likes of me. While I love 'Mr. Misunderstood' and 'Record Year' off of his latest album, my favorite song is a track called 'Chattanooga Lucy'. I have no idea if he'll release it, but boy I hope he does.

While it seems like Chris Stapleton is an overnight sensation, he has worked hard to be where he is. Proof of that is the number of artists trying to take credit for discovering him during the opening of this year's ACM awards. His album 'Traveller' is a must own for any country fan, actually any music fan. This track is in my playlist this week.

Another Country newcomer, Chris Janson is on my favorites list and he too is coming to the Taste of Country Music Festival this June. He is amazing live and he could steal the whole show at Hunter Mountain. You heard it here first.

Wrapping up this week's Tunesday Tuesday playlist is Randy Houser. His latest album, 'Fired Up' was released in March and has quickly become one of my favorites as well. You may find yourself singing this track after only one listen.

What do you think? What are you listening to this week? What songs do you want me to hear? Let me know and I’ll see you back here next week for another Tunesday Tuesday.
