Think Beach Boys and Country Music

Brian Wilson, founding member of the Beach Boys, is set to release a solo album called No Pier Pressure. Wilson grabbed a few of his friends to join him on the record.

Nate Ruess of the band Fun. makes an appearance as well as the group She & Him. Have no fear, there are some country influences on the record including a song with Kacey Musgraves. The song is called "Guess Had to be There" and it's fun and feels like summer, plus Kacey adds excellent vocals to the chorus. Wilson spoke to Rollingstone about the collaboration:

"When it's good it's good, when it's not — do it again. But after three tries, Kacey nailed it. I like the way she just slides over the notes — she has a very cool sound"

Sounds like the perfect song for a stroll on the beach.
