The Ulster County SPCA Is Asking The Public For Help
One Hudson Valley animal shelter needs your assistance.
The Ulster County SPCA shared to their Facebook page on Monday, June 10th a photo of a dog who recently found on the side of the road. In the post they wrote the dog was "found tied to a tree with a "Free" sign on him. He was left like this in West Hurley, West of the Ashokan Resevoir."
The puppy, who they are calling Jamerson, was found in rough condition. The post explains that Jamerson is "severely underweight, with his spine, ribs and hip bones clearly exposed. Additionally, he has urine scalding on his fur, and his nails are significantly overgrown."
The Ulster County SPCA is asking for the public for their help with the case. If you have any information about Jamerson you're encouraged to call the Humane Law Department at 845-331-5377 x 230 or 212.
If you would like to donate to the Ulster County SPCA to help Jamerson, you can find the link on their Facebook page. They have already received over $2,000.
