The Most Famous Dog on The Internet Teams Up with Upstate New York Dog Trainer
If you're a dog lover and you're on social media, you probably are very familiar with Miss. Peaches.
Owner of Barstool Sports Rescues Sweet Pitbull, Miss. Peaches
In early February of 2024, Owner and Founder of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy announced the newest addition to his family: a pitbull named Miss. Peaches.
Peaches was rescued from a hoarding/breeding/neglect situation in Atlanta along with 26 other dogs with help from Lifeline Animal Project.
Portnoy shared Miss Peaches story and overnight she became a celebrity. Peaches has 1.3 Million followers on social media and her face is plastered all over Barstool merchandise.
All the proceeds from the Miss. Peaches apparel goes to Lifeline Animal Project, where Peaches was saved.
Miss Peaches Gets Into Some Trouble
She may be a good girl, but Miss Peaches is a little bit of a troublemaker. While Portnoy has been documenting his life with Miss Peaches we've seen her get into and out of everything.
Peaches has chewed up Gucci Loafers, her Grandma's makeup bag, and numerous other pieces of clothing. Early on in Portnoy and Peaches' relationship, the pup got into a pack of Icebreakers gum, which has ingredients that are highly toxic, and landed her in the hospital for a few nights.
Thankfully, everything was okay and Peachy received a full bill of health. Plus, she's a bit of an escape artist. Portnoy has documented Peaches trying to escape several of his multimillion-dollar homes. After her latest almost break-out, Portnoy called in the professionals.
Upstate New York Dog Trainer Trains Miss. Peaches
Portnoy called in the experts. Expert in dog behavior and aggression, Thomas Davis shipped out to Portnoys New England summer home for a few days of one-on-one work with Miss. Peaches. You could see how much Davis connected with Peaches making for what looked like an extremely successful training session. Davis, who is located out of Clifton Park, New York, part of their training sessions on social media. And yes, Davis is training Portnoy as well:
