The Charlie Daniels Band Is Coming Back to the Hudson Valley
Charlie Daniels started out as a session musician, playing on some Bob Dylan albums in the late sixties, as well as those by Leonard Cohen. He's produced, written songs for other artists, and, in the early 1970's, stepped to the front of the stage with hits like 'Devil Went Down to Georgia', 'Uneasy Rider', and more. He was still making hits in the 80's with songs like 'The Legend of Wooley Swamp' and 'In America'.
He was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2008, the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2009, and just this fall he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
You have a chance to see him live as The Charlie Daniels Band returns to the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater on Saturday night, April 22, 2017, for an evening of high-powered country and southern rock. Plus, celebrate the opening of the season with a pre-show reception in the theater’s newly refurbished outdoor beer garden.
