The Best Places To Break Up With Someone In The Hudson Valley
Need a good spot to break up with your significant other? You've come to the right place.
To make a breakup as good as it can be, you need to have a great location.
Breakups are never fun. Sometimes they're easy, but they can also get super messy and be this long, drawn-out process. No one wants that, or quite frankly, has time for that. To make a breakup as good as it can be, you need to have a great location. But with so many hot spots in the Hudson Valley, how can you decide!?
Should you go to the historic Walkway Over the Hudson for the fresh air? Maybe to one of the multiple craft breweries to drown your sorrows afterward? Perhaps at one of the riverfront restaurants to have a love story-esque backdrop? While they're great options, I wouldn't say they're the best.
Take it from someone—me—who's broken up with her fair share of people. I know the perfect spot in the Hudson Valley to dump someone, and I've done it there three times recently. The best place to break up with someone in the Hudson Valley is a coffee shop! Nothing fixes heartbreak like iced tea, am I right or am I right?
Try not to get stuck inside having a conversation with the giant breakup elephant in the room.
There are coffee shops all over the Hudson Valley. I personally always go for the chain coffee shop. It's a universal location. You know what you're going to get out of a chain. It'll be busy enough that the other person (hopefully) won't cause a scene. I've broken up with someone at the Dunkin' Donuts in Montgomery, the Starbucks across from Marist, and the Starbucks in Arlington. But beware: they might want to go inside and get coffee, even though you hit them prior with the "We need to talk." Try not to get stuck inside having a conversation with the giant breakup elephant in the room. Cut them loose in the parking lot if you can. If not, godspeed.
