Alyssa Rose Barger remained on life support in the intensive care unit on Thanksgiving following the Route 44 crash that claimed her boyfriend's life.

Barger's sister, Jordan Marquardt, said on WPDH's Facebook page Thursday night that a GoFundMe Page has been established for her medical costs.

Nolan Evanicki, 18, of Pleasant Valley was killed in Saturday's accident. Barger and Evanicki were in a vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 44 in Pleasant Valley. The vehicle attempted to turn onto the Taconic State Parkway when another vehicle traveling westbound struck it.

New York State Police said Evanicki was pronounced dead at the scene but had not released information about Barger or the person or persons traveling in the other vehicle.

Evanicki's funeral will be held on Monday, according to an obituary published on the McHoule Funeral Home website.

In a phone call on Monday, Dylan relayed his father Mike's thoughts on what they wanted the Hudson Valley to know about their beloved brother and son.

"That kid was full of life. He loved wrestling and superheroes and wanted a long life with his girlfriend," Dylan said.

In an email to the Hudson Valley Post, Nolan's mother, Melissa K. Evanicki, wrote about how she wanted the public to remember her son.

"Nolan was full of life. He loved all that it had to offer. He loved his family, friends and the love of his life, Alyssa Rose Barger," Melissa wrote. "He had a unique ability to plan for the future and live in the moment. He saw the absolute best in everyone and did what he could to help those in need."

Calling hours at McHoul Funeral Home on Route 82 in Hopewell Junction will be held on Sunday from 2-6PM. The family asked visitors to wear their favorite superhero or wrestling t-shirt in remembrance on Evanicki.

Funeral services for the teenager will be held Monday.
