Here is how and where to schedule an appointment.
The struggle to find a vaccine appointment for many seems to be getting a bit better over the last few days with many new sites opening up across the Hudson Valley. If your a teacher or a childcare worker and you still haven't been able to schedule your appointment the Rite-Aid pharmacy has just announced that they've extended the priority COVID-19 vaccine scheduling time for teachers, school staff and childcare providers according to News 10.
This is an exclusive chance for educators to get the vaccine, as the goal is to have all educators vaccinated in the month of March if they choose. Appointments will be available exclusively to qualifying educators, school staff and licensed childcare program staff on the following days:
Friday, March 19th
Saturday, March 20th
Friday, March 26th
Saturday, March 27th
We have eight plus Rite-Aid locations across the Hudson Valley with locations in Poughkeepsie, Hopewell Junction, Middletown, Highland, Hyde Park, Wappingers Falls, Beacon and more. You can find a location near you by checking the Rite-Aid website here and if you plan to make an appointment we suggest you contact the pharmacy closet to you first, before you go to make sure they are offering the vaccine on the dates above. They will also be able to answer any other questions you might have.
If you are a qualifying educator, school staff member or a licensed childcare staff member you can schedule your exclusive appointment online with the Rite Aid scheduling tool.
