We've all heard that spending time with friends is a good thing but how true is that?
According to research done by Harvard Women's Health, getting away with your best girl friends is healthy.
Going out with friends is always a good thing but to actually take a trip is the best thing you can do. If you can manage to do it 3 to 4 times a year, even better. Going away gets you away from the normal, everyday events, activities, stress, scenery and allows you to talk about and do things you may not do if you just went out for the night.
Research proves that it relieves stress because you can talk about anything with your friends in an atmosphere that is different. Maybe you are having relationship issues, or work stress or baby stress or you just can't seem to make ends meet. Your friends can offer a solution, a shoulder to cry on or just lend an ear to listen. Plus, they are your best friends so you know it'll be fun and isn't that what life is really about?
