It’s been a few days since we had a nice sunny day with dry weather.  Wednesday will be that day.  Plenty of sunshine once we burn off some early morning fog.  Temperatures will be in the mid 80’s.  Thursday looks even hotter, with temperatures near 90 and the heat index will be factored in.  It could feel like 95 on Thursday.

A cold front late Wednesday night could touch off some isolated showers on Thursday, but otherwise it looks dry for the next two days.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Wednesday:  Early morning patchy fog.  Mostly sunny, high near 88.

Wednesday night:  Partly cloudy, low near 68.  Light west wind.

Thursday:  Mostly sunny and hot.  High near 90, heat index value of 95.  A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Friday:  Mostly cloudy, high near 87.  Showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon and evening.  Locally heavy rainfall expected.
