Stewart’s Shops Wins Big for the 4th Year in a Row at the New York State Fair

New York State Fair Host Best Milk Competition

The New York State Fair ran this year from August 20th through September 1st this year in Syracuse.

According to reports this years Great New York State Fair brought in 925,989 guest during it's 2 week run. During the 13-day fair guests were able to enjoy delicious fair food, great music, thrilling rides and fun exhibits and contest. 

One contest that has taken place since 1997, The Best Milk in New York contest. This year a local favorite took home the top prize.

Stewart's Wins Best Milk in New York Contest For 4th Year in a Row

According to a press release, Stewart's Shops took home the top prize of Best Milk in New York for the 4th year in a row.

Stewart's also took 1st place in the Best Chocolate Milk and Best Flavored Milk categories. The winners were announced during The Great New York State Fair last week in Syracuse.

In a statement Stewart's Shops president Chad Kiesow said:

“This is a humbling honor that serves as a testament to the hard work that our farmers and partners put into each day to make sure we serve our customers with the highest quality milk and ice cream possible”

Additionally, this Best Milk award "marked the 10th time in the past 20 years that Stewart's has been recognized as the best milk producer in New York State."

Stewart's prides themselves on getting their milk from local farms to the shops in 48 hours or less.  Their award winning milk is also used to make their award winning ice cream.

Speaking of ice cream, Stewart's took 1st place in the Open Class ice cream competition with their Mint Cookie Crumble.

Stewart's Vanilla and Chocolate ice cream came in 2nd place in their categories.

Fall Flavors Arrive at Your Local Stewart's Shops

Stewart's has announced the addition of their fall flavors for the season. They have all the apple and pumpkin flavors you could possibly think of and in unique forms.

On the coffee side, hot Pumpkin Spiced is back and  Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Refreshers are back in the cooler.

Apple Cider and Pumpkin Glazed donuts have also returned to Stewart's, as well as the Iced Apple Muffin and Pumpkin Cheese Muffin. You can't forget about the Apple Empanadas that taste just like apple pie.
