We say goodbye to single use plastic bags in New York on March 1st.

The plastic bag ban has been all over the news the last few months and if your anything like me, you have been grabbing as many bags as possible and storing them away for future shopping trips. My linen closet is over flowing with them and YES I have a linen closet...LOL!

With all of that in mind, the folks over at Stewart's Shops have decided to make the transition away from the single use bags a little bit easier and as an added bonus will turn us all into collectors.

According to the Times Union, Stewart Shops are now using bags at their stores with this printed on them, “I’m one of the last Stewart’s bags (Collector’s Item). By March 1, 2020, I will be replaced by paper and reusable bags. Please reuse me!”

What a great idea, along with a reminder that the bag game is changing, they are giving us bags we can actually use over and over. Love it!! Not to mention the bags they use are the absolute best ones you can get! So head into your local Stewart's a grab one will supplies last.
