St Patrick’s Day Parade

Even if you aren't Irish, St Patrick's Day has become quite an event.  Especially when it comes to parades.

Cities all throughout the country have them and some are way bigger than others but they all seem to have some things in common.  Irish people, EMS vehicles, marching bands, kids and beer, not necessarily in that order either.

The city of Wappingers Falls is no different when it comes to parades.   This years Dutchess County St Patrick's Day Parade will be on Saturday, March 7th.

It's the unofficial start of spring and A.J's Cafe will be serving Irish food all day.  Yes, that means corn beef and cabbage but it also means green beer among others.

The parade kicks off at noon and ends just one block away from A.J's cafe.
