Halloween Has Invaded The Hudson Valley

The air is crisp, the night falls earlier and the Halloween spirit has invaded the Hudson Valley.

All of our favorite haunted attractions are open and neighborhoods have decked out their lawns in fun, yet spooky Halloween decor.

One family in Dutchess County, who is known for their elaborate displays, is back for the 2025 Halloween season with an incredible display open to the public.

148 Pieces Turned into Incredible Halloween Display in Poughkeepsie

The Dellamura Family at 45 Kerr Road in Poughkeepsie has done it again!

Kayla Dellamura has been hard at work over the last few weeks putting the finishing touches on her front lawn. Every year Kayla, and her family, put together one of the better home Halloween displays in the Hudson Valley.

This year is no different. Kayla tells us they've added several new features including "a new 12 footer- giving us 10 giants in total out there! (Not including the TWO huge krakens and snake) "

If you've never been to 45 Kerr Road at night, you're missing out on a vibrant "toxic waste area" that glows in the dark! This year there is a new pump station in the toxic waste area Dellamura tells us. She adds "Our giant head is continually squirting green ooze while being carried through the scene."

Additionally, they have a new Captain animatronic that is sitting front and center this year, plus "details floating in the background for people to enjoy."

In total, the 2025 display has 148 pieces on the lawn! Some of those pieces have been obtained from local haunted attraction, Pure Terror Scream Park in Monroe.
