Many believe that after the 4th of July its completely acceptable to start planning (and celebrating) Halloween. I guess Spirit Halloween thought the same thing as they started getting ready at their new location in Kingston, New York.
It looks as though Spirit Halloween will be opening at location at the old Big Lots location at 1375 Ulster Avenue.
Sources tell us that the inside is currently being set up with costumes, decorations and more.
As of right now, there's no official opening date but if we look back at previous years Spirit Halloween has opened their many Hudson Valley locations towards the end of August.

Will Spirit Christmas Return to the Hudson Valley in 2025?
While we're on the topic of Spirit Halloween...
Remember in November 2024 when Spirit Christmas opened a handful of locations across the US?
One of those locations was at the vacant Bed, Bath and Beyond on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie.
Hudson Valley residents were so excited for the Christmas store to open their doors, they lined up in droves on opening day. The line was so long and overwhelming that Spirit Christmas had to move back the opening time to a few hours later.
We reached out to Spirit Christmas to see if they would be opening again for the 2025 holiday season, while we haven't heard back about a specific Hudson Valley location it does look like they will be bringing back the brand in 2025.
We'll update this article when we get more details. Until then, take a look at what Spirit Christmas had to offer in 2024.
