Monroe, NY Scream Park Adds 2 New Terrifying Attractions

We're halfway through 2025, and once the 4th of July rolls around fans of the spookiest time of year begin their celebration.

Many believe that the Halloween season begins after the 4th of July as it's the next big holiday celebrated.

So, since were almost there we figured it's time to start talking about spooky season in the Hudson Valley.

Did You Know The Worlds Longest Haunted Attraction is in The Hudson Valley?

Since 2015 Pure Terror Scream Park, located within Museum Village in Monroe New York, has held the Guinness World Record for Worlds Longest Overall Walk-Through Haunted Attraction.

According to the Guinness World Record Pure Terror Scream Park is 1,933.72 meters or 6,344 feet 3 inches long and it takes about an hour to walk through from beginning to end screaming along the way.

This year, Pure Terror has announced some new additions to keep the screams coming.

Pure Terror Scream Park Adds 2 New Terrifying Attractions for 2025 Scare Season

On Facebook Pure Terror Scream Park shared that the 2025 scare season will welcome 2 new terrifying attractions.

First up, Scapegrace High. The story goes the school was "Founded in 1947—shut down by a mysterious fire, half the senior class vanished… but the spirits never did."

Then, there's Panic Attack Extreme. Pure Terror calls this "A no-holds-barred blackout horror experience" Adding that it is "The most extreme haunted attraction to ever exist at Pure Terror."

Panic Attack Extreme and Scapegrace High join 10 other haunts including Psycho Circus, Pumpkin Alley, Bedlam State Asylum, and Legends of Horror. The scare season will begin at Pure Terror Scream Park in Monroe Friday, September 19th and will run weekends through November 2nd. Tickets can be purchased now at PureTerror.com.
