10 Spirit Halloween Locations Open in the Hudson Valley

As the fall rolls in, so do the holidays. And the holiday season kicked off in August as Spirit Halloween opened up locations nationwide.

That includes 10 locations in the Hudson Valley in the following places:

Hudson - Former Big Lots - 300 Fairview Avenue
Kingston - Former Big Lots - 1375 Ulster Avenue
Middletown - Former Toys R Us- 88 Dunning Road
Monroe - Former Best Buy -128 Bailey Farm Road
Nanuet - 140 Rockland Plaza
Newburgh- Near Planet Fitness - 39 N Plank Road
Peekskill - Former JoAnn Fabrics - 1831 Main Street
Poughkeepsie - Former Dress Barn - 2536 South Road
Wappingers - Former Burlington Coat Factory - 1895 South Road
Yorktown Heights - Former Forever 21- 650 Lee Boulevard, D118

Last year after Halloween, the Hudson Valley was lucky enough to be a part of the first Spirit Christmas rollout.

Many are now wondering if the holiday store will make a return in 2025.

Spirit Christmas Returns to New York in 2025 with 3 New Locations

We have great news! Spirit Christmas will return to New York in 2025!

There are currently 3 New York locations up now on the Spirit Christmas website that include Amherst, Bohemia and...Poughkeepsie!

However, Spirit Christmas will NOT return to the location on South Road where Bed, Bath and Beyond used to be.

Spirit Christmas will move into The Shoppes at South Road at 1895 South Road in Poughkeepsie.

That location used to be Burlington Coat Factory and is currently housing a large Spirit Halloween.

When Will Spirit Christmas Open in 2025?

While we don't have an exact opening date, considering we're still prepping for Halloween, we can narrow down a window of time for the opening date.

Halloween wraps up on Friday, October 31st (duh) and Spirit Halloween usually lingers for a few more days for folks to grab future costumes and décor. Last year, Spirit Christmas quickly took over the Spirit Halloween location on November 11th, 2024.

At least we have a bit of a time frame to keep in mind.

Until then, you'll find photos of Spirit Christmas from 2024 when it was located on South Road in the former Bed, Bath and Beyond.
