Here is another great way the Class of 2020 is celebrating.

We've been over it a million times since the coronavirus pandemic started back in March, schools are closed and most normally scheduled graduations and activities have been postponed or canceled. So there it is again, in case you missed it...LOL!

So over the last few months we've all been trying to give the Class of 2020 some extra love because of everything been cancelled and so many schools across the Hudson Valley have had some great ideas on how to celebrate and I think when a school does something above and beyond for their seniors we need to spread the news.

In normal days every year the teachers at Roy C. Ketcham High School in the Wappingers Central School District do a special BBQ for seniors where the teachers cook for the kids but with the pandemic, they, like many, had to adjust and the teachers did in a great job in making sure the kids get to enjoy some great BBQ.

With everyone social distancing and worried about germs and such, the teachers decided to get East Fishkill Provisions to do the BBQ, and today JUNE 16th from 12-2 p.m. all Ketcham seniors will be able to drive up to the school on Myers Corners Rd and grab themselves some East Fishill Provisions BBQ for FREE.

Just another GREAT example of teachers and school staff adjusting to the changing ways and still making all of the Valley seniors feel extra special during this different times. If you know of a school do something special for the class of 2020, send a message through the Wolf app.
