Here's a point-of-view look at what the Fairview Fire Department saw as they pulled up to Saturday's out-of-control blaze in Poughkeepsie.

Just before 3pm on Saturday, Feb 20, the Fairview Fire Department says they received a call about a fire on Fulton Street in Poughkeepsie. A vehicle was on fire at the Eastern Metal Recycling yard near a fuel tank. As they arrived, firefighters say they saw "a number of vehicles" ablaze, along with other scrap, batteries, tires and even a shed.

Below is footage released by the Fairview Fire Department of exactly what they saw when arriving on scene yesterday.

Due to the hard work of the Fairview firefighters and other departments that were called in, the fire was extinguished just after 4pm. According to officials, the fire was caused by gasoline fumes that were ignited by a spark. There were no injuries reported and the fire was contained to the recycling yard.
