Saugerties, NY Country Singer Hits The Road with Parker McCollum

An Ulster County native and reality competition superstar is hitting the road with one of the biggest names in country music.

Saugerties Favorite Country Star: Ian Flannigan

In October 2020, the world was introduced to Saugerties, New York native Ian Flannigan. His gritty voice gained the attention of all the coaches on NBC's The Voice, however, it won over Blake Shelton to the point where he picked Flannigan to be on Team Blake.

From there, week after week, Flannigan performed his heart out covering songs from the Zac Brown Band, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings.  Those outstanding performances secured Ian a spot in the finale. Unfortunately, Ian did not win The Voice but got his foot in the door. Since his season aired, Ian has released music with Blake Shelton, toured around the country, and played with artists like Chris Janson.

And it looks like Mr. Flannigan will play with another big name in country music in New York this summer.

On February 1st, 2023 Emporium Presents announced Ian Flannigan was added to the list of opening acts for Parker McCollum. You know Parker McCollum from hits like "Pretty Heart," To Be Loved By You" and "Handle on You."

Flannigan joins Larry Fleet in the opening act spots for McCollum's tour stops in Buffalo on August 17th at ART Park NY and Syracuse at the St. Joseph's Health Amphitheater at Lakeview on August 19th.
