As if dating weren't hard enough, let's throw a pandemic on top of that and it's impossible.

With that being said, there are a few ways to continue practicing social distancing and still be able to have some form of a dating life. The dating apps are a hot spot right now, so why not swipe right and see where things go?

The best way to date and safest way to date in this weird world is by FaceTiming or Zoom chatting. Chances are you have a webcam on your computer or a smartphone that gives you that option.

Get your favorite wine, agree on a movie and it's like exactly like a date night in the real world (minus the makeout session). You're getting to know each other at a safe distance.

Worst case scenario, if things aren't going smoothly, you can say your phone died and then block the number.

I did see a video recently of a New Yorker meeting his date while in a big plastic bubble ball. If you have the means, this is a fantastic and silly idea. It would definitely be an unforgettable date.
