QTSO: Tequlia Hangover it’s the Seis de Mayo

Today is the 6th of May, the day most of us are recovering from a tequila hangover. A few margarita's and a few tacos too many and when the 6th falls on a Monday ... ouch! We thought the answer to you too much Cinco De Mayo should be as they say "some hair of the dog" or should we phase it "salt of the glass". We are bringing you Tequila in tonight's Quittin Time Spin Off (QTSO). We have two great tequila tunes for you to chose from. A classic by John Anderson and a favorite from Kenny Chesney.

John Anderson "Straight Tequila Night" released on December 2nd 1991 it went all the way to number one and was John's first number one since 1983. It became an anthem for those us us who let you know our mood by the adult beverage we have selected for the evening. It was considered John's comeback single.

Kenny Chesney with Grace Potter "You and Tequila" released in May of 2011 this ballad tribute to tequila only made it to number 3 on the chart but it did receive 2 Grammy nods. One for Best Country Song the Other For Best Duo/Group Performance.
