QTSO: Honoring “The Possum”

Tonight's QTSO is taking you back to this day in Country music 2013. A sad day in country music, April 26th 2013 is the day country legend George Jones passed away at the age of 81. He was in the middle of what was billed as a farewell tour when his poor health resulted in George being hospitalized and then passing away from hypoxic respiratory failure. George maybe gone but his legend lives on. If you visit Nashville you trip isn't complete without a trip to The George Jones - Bar Smokehouse.

George Jones - Finally Friday - the perfect Friday quitting song but I don't want to influence the vote.

George Jones He Stopped Loving Her today - number one from 1980 that Alan Jackson sang at George's funeral service on May 2nd 2013. Still my all time favorite.
