Porch Pirates Steal Packages From Newburgh Home [VIDEO]
Unfortunately, as we do more of our shopping online, the more packages seem to be disappearing from our doorsteps. The phenomenon even has a name. Those who decide to plunder and rob us of our holiday presents have become known as "porch pirates". Some have even taken drastic measures to protect their property.
Looks like the pirates have made another raid here locally. Hudson Valley 12 is reporting that camera footage caught two woman on tape stealing packages in Newburgh Wednesday morning.
The act was caught on a Ring doorbell device at home on Carter Avenue. The film shows the two Grinches stealing two packages and then running off into the night. Police say a report was filed, but no arrests have been made.
