
Have You Seen This Truck in the Hudson Valley?
The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help in identifying the owner of this truck after it was allegedly involved in the theft of a cargo trailer.

A recent theft in the Town of North East, NY has the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) Law Enforcement Division (DCSOLED) attempting to locate and identify a suspect vehicle as well as a trailer that was reported stolen earlier this month.
Grand Larceny Suspect Wanted in Dutchess County, NY
According to the DCSO Facebook page, they are attempting to find the person or persons responsible for allegedly stealing a cargo trailer sometime between Wednesday, March 5th, and Thursday, March 6th. The theft reportedly took place at a residence on Willoughby Lane in the Town of North East sometime between 5:00 p.m. on 3/05 and 8:35 a.m. on 3/06.

Law enforcement described the trailer (below) as a 24-foot v-nose black 2018 Diamond tandem axle cargo trailer, with a New York Registration #CH26764, and a vehicle identification number (VIN) of #53NBE202XJ1060424.
They also said that the trailer contained numerous Milwaukee tools and electrical equipment at the time it was stolen.
Suspect Vehicle Identified
Detectives working on the case have released a picture of the vehicle that was allegedly used to steal the trailer (above). As you can see in the picture above it's hard to get an exact ID of the truck but they say it appears to be a light color Dodge Ram pick-up truck.
Authorities said that the suspect vehicle was captured on camera taking the trailer from the residence and was later caught on camera traveling southbound on State Route 22 through the Town of Amenia and the Town of Dover.
Additionally, the suspect vehicle was later on camera at the intersection of State Route 22 and Pleasant Ridge Road in Wingdale where it reportedly turned right and drove west onto Pleasant Ridge Road.
