Pets of the Week With the Ulster County SPCA
Each week we work with the Ulster County SPCA to highlight just a few of the animals that are looking for good homes. The staff and volunteers work very hard to take care of the animals that are currently at the shelter and to work to find them good homes.
In an effort to house more stray, abandoned, and surrendered dogs, the Ulster County SPCA has kicked off a building expansion aimed at adding 25 kennels. With over 100 cats and more than 50 dogs already in the shelter, they have met their kennel capacity. You can help by clicking here to donate.
Shenzi.
Shenzi is a male 4 year old Shepard mix and is great with kids. He is
very shy at first but warms up really fast. He is also great with cats
and other dogs.
Mirabella
Mirabella is a 2 year old female mixed breed. She is house broken, and
is better with older children because they can handle her bubbly
personality. She needs active owners who will spend a lot of time
exercising her. She is also good with cats and other dogs.
Jackson.
Jackson is a 3 year old male domestic short hair furry ball of love. He
is very affectionate and laid back. He loves when his ears are
scratched. He just loves attention and wants to find his forever home!
