Animal Rescue In Middletown Is Looking to Spotlight Alumni
I have a fur baby. Her name is Minnie Pearl and she came to our family from Pets Alive. This April we will celebrate her 15th year's Gotcha Birthday.
She was one of 4 puppies that arrived with their Mom from Tennessee, hence why they all had Nashville names. Her mom was named Limo and her brothers and sister were Box Car Willie, Johnny Cash and I recall the last one I think was Memphis Belle.
Pets Alive in Middletown Looking For Alumni
A year or two after we got Pearl we went to a reunion day at Pets Alive. It was great fun we enjoyed the visit and even got to see Pearl's Mom again and met her adopters. When people tell me they want to adopt a pet I always think about how amazing the group was who helped us with Pearl.

This week on their Facebook page Pets Alive put out a notice that they are looking for Pets Alive Alumni. They have even started an online Alumni album.
I plan to send them a recent photo of Pearl so they can add her to the roster. If you know someone with a pet from Pets Alive make sure they know about this cool online album.
How to Be a Part of the Pets Alive Alumni Gallery
Pets Alive is asking that if you adopted an animal friend from them they would love an update. Send in stories and pictures of what your fur baby has been up to since arriving at their forever home.
You can email the info to info@petsalive.
You can also join the Alumni conversation on the official Pets Alive Facebook page. On the photo tab, they also have a section dedicated to Alumni photos so be sure to send one in for the album.
Update on Pets Alive's New Facility in Middletown, New York
Another project that Pets Alive has underway is building a new facility. They recently posted an update on its progress and shared some pictures. The transformation project to build the new Community Resource + Adoption Center has been underway since last year thanks to generous donations and a grant from New York State.
The construction is coming along and if you want to help there is still time to donate. Pets Alive is at 363 Derby Road in Middletown New York. They are online at petsalive.org. Their mission is to build a humane community through adoption, outreach, education, and rescue.
