Paty Quyn Confesses To Not Knowing This Acronym

Do you ever feel like you are the last one to get the joke? How about being the only person in the room to ask a question with an obvious answer? Just ask anyone who has ever attended a meeting with me. I was always told there are no stupid questions so I ask about everything, I imagine it is annoying. Oh well, welcome to the world of Paty Quyn. It isn't that I don't pay attention, although I am guilty of "shiny thing, .. squirrel" sometimes, well okay let's say often.

But I must have been absent the day that the Florida Georgie Line song H.O.L.Y. was discussed. I have been I fan since the song debuted. (Sidebar it went number one in only 2 weeks on the charts.) I always wonder why the song is called H.O.L.Y. like it is an acronym for something.

Well duh, like a ton of bricks it hit me today when watching the video, H.O.L.Y. High On Loving You. I am singing along when it got to the hook and suddenly I got it. Was I the last person to realize this? Just say yes. I must have been under a rock. You can say it, "a little late to the party", "not the sharpest crayon in the box", "one sandwich short of a picnic",. Okay, that will do.
