I am the father of a 6 month old little girl that is my everything.  Isn't she just the cutest?

I knew that having a newborn was going to me less sleep and tired days but the rewards were going to be worth it and it won't last long right?  Eventually I'll sleep normal........or will I?

According to CBS News, sleep doesn't recover for parents of newborns for 6 or more years.

The study was done by Oxford University and found that even after 6 years, dads slept 15 minutes less a day and moms sleep 20 minutes less a day than before the baby arrived.

I know that sleeping through the night is something that doesn't happen right away and when it does, you still don't sleep right.

Many nights when baby is sleeping for a long period of time, one or both of us will be up wondering if baby is OK and just wondering how long it will be before she gets up next.

I'm not discouraged and she is the greatest thing to happen to me but keep this study in your mind when planning a baby.

It's well worth it.

With that said, I'm going to put my head down, just for a minute and hopefully get some sle..........................................................................
