A few months ago it was, sadly, reported that the Orange County Sheriff's Office lost one of their own.

K-9 Tok passed away after battling an aggressive form of cancer. Tok worked with Orange County Deputy Daniel Volpe. Yesterday, it was announced that Deputy Volpe was given a new partner.

On their Facebook page, the Orange County Sheriff's Office introduced the Hudson Valley to, 11 month-old, K-9 Reno. According to the post, "members of the Rockland County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Bragaglia, Deputy Golden, Officer Lopez and Sergeant Lowe presented Deputy Volpe with a blue teardrop and a blanket, "covering the blue." The blanket was given in honor of former K-9, Tok.

Judging from the pictures, it looks like K9 Reno is fitting in just fine.
