Orange County Fuel Fund Accepting Applications

If you, or someone you know, needs a little help in paying some of your home heating expenses and you live in Orange County, here's some good news for you. The Orange County Fuel Fund will be accepting applications until Friday, April 22.

Even if you didn't qualify for the Home Energy Assistance Program, otherwise known as HEAP, you may be eligible for help with this program. Whether you heat your home with electric, gas, kerosene, oil or propane, you can apply for a heating grant to assist with payment for a portion of those services.

Grant amounts depend on the type of heating fuel you use and range from $800.00 to $1,000.00. If you are eligible and approved for heating assistance, the monies will be paid directly to your heating provider. The Orange County Fuel Fund operates on a first-come, first-serve basis, so don't wait.
