As if the New Year couldn't get more fun we are four days in and the Orange County Fair Speedway has made dirt tracks fans excited for 2025.

In late December, the Orange County Fair Speedway posted a thank-you note to everyone who had helped make the shortened 2024 season at the Speedway in Middletown, New York, a success. Brett Hearn and Doug Dulgarian also promised that a racing schedule was on the way soon.

Soon has arrived. Over the weekend, the Orange County Fair Speedway posted on its Facebook page the races that fans can look forward to this season and the historic dirt track in Middletown. Much like last year, it will be a series instead of weekly racing, but unlike last year, it will be five races instead of three.

From what I can see it is called the Big Series 2 for 2025 and the opening race is set for May 4th, 2025. On the bill, there will be a Nostalgia Night, an Anniversary Night, and a Champion Night.
