Iconic Hudson Valley Speedway Makes Big Announcement
One of the Hudson Valley’s only speedways is getting ready to fire things back up after announcing its 2026 racing schedule.
If you’ve ever spent a Friday night in Accord, there’s a good chance you’ve heard or felt the rumble coming from the Accord Speedway. The longtime dirt track has been a go-to spot for racing fans since the 1960s, bringing together drivers, teams, and spectators for weekly action all summer long.
Friday Night Racing in Accord, NY
Located at 299 Whitfield Road in Accord, NY (Town of Rochester), the speedway has built a reputation over the years as one of the best places to catch live dirt track racing in the region. Honestly, there’s nothing quite like it. The engines, the speed, and of course, the dirt flying under the lights, it’s a full-on Friday night tradition for a lot of Hudson Valley families.
And the good news? That tradition is continuing in 2026.
Accord Speedway Announces 2026 Race Dates

Weekly Friday night races will feature a variety of divisions, including modifieds, sportsman, pure stocks, limited sportsman, and slingshots. Four-cylinder and vintage modified races will also be part of the lineup on a rotating basis throughout the season.

Special Events Planned for 2026
Racing will continue nearly every Friday night through the summer, with the final points race scheduled for September 4th.
In addition to weekly racing, the speedway has also lined up a few special events throughout the year, including AMA Motorcycle events on select Saturdays in May, June, September, and October. And yes, one of the track’s most popular traditions is coming back too. The annual “Gobbler” race is set for Saturday, November 28th.
