New Windsor Community Day
It's happening this Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend on the cheaper side you might want to check out the New Windsor Community Day.
It will all take place at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park (formerly Mt. Airy Sports Complex) at 660 Mt Airy Rd in New Windsor.
The folks behind this great event are calling it "Not Your Typical Community Day" and are promising a ton of free things for the whole family to do, including the Orphaned Wildlife Bear Exhibit, where you can get up close and personal with their bears and learn all about them, laser tag, carousel rides, rock climbing, bounce houses, pony rides, petting zoo and more, all free.
There will also be live entertainment all day long, with live music from area bands plus Bee Bee the Clown, a magician, over 25 food vendors, a wine and beer tent and a huge fireworks display that will start around 8:30 p.m.
If you are interested they will also have helicopter rides available for $50.
