As New York gets ready to open a lot of us in the community have questions about how it will work and what people should do to prepare. The Village of New Paltz has shared via their Facebook page that they will be having a meeting this week to help answer questions.

On Thursday May 14th from 3 PM to 4:30 PM representatives of the Town and Village of New Paltz will gather to discuss question about the re-opening and what it means for the community. Realizing that most of us have questions they thought it would be a good idea to hear people's concerns and try to address them ahead of time. The plan is to be live on YouTube and take peoples questions through the YouTube chat feature. Residents of New Paltz are encourage to submit questions a head of time as well.

New Paltz like other Hudson Valley towns is looking forward to re-opening their businesses and welcoming back visitors to the area. However there are many step and challenges that must be handled in order for this to go smoothly. Knowing what the community is thinking will help everyone have a better plan.

Listen to Paty Quyn weekday afternoons from 3PM to 7PM on The Wolf. Stream us live through the website, Alexa-enabled device, Google Home or The Wolf mobile app.
