WOW, this place looks amazing!

I am always looking for places in the Hudson Valley that I can maybe take a long weekend at, maybe a quick road trip stay-cation and I think I found a hot spot for my next trip.

It's called the Urban Cowboy Lodge and it's located in the Catskills near the Big Indian Wilderness, which is located just past Phoenicia, along the Esopus Creek. The lodge sits on land that is not new to great places to stay, as it was home to the family owned and operated Alpine Inn.

You may have heard the name Urban Cowboy Lodge before as they have locations open in Brooklyn and Nashville with the location in the Catskills featuring 28 rooms, which is the perfect retreat for anyone looking to connect with nature and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the world. Disconnect is what you'll do as one thing you will not find at the lodge is cell phone service and that was done on purpose!

According to HVMAG, the ambiance at the lodge is a cross between cowboy casual and upscale elegance with things like in room Japanese soaking tubs, and beautiful fireplaces. They also offer guests the chance to choose their own adventure.

They offer everything from hiking, skiing or you can lounge on their private outdoor deck or take a soak in their in-room cedar or copper tub. They also have plans to open a full spa in the spring.

If you would like to book a stay the Urban Cowboy Lodge rates run around $175 to $295 during the week and $295 to $1000 during the weekend. Get more information by following them on Instagram here.
