Maybe I've been listening to too many True Crime podcasts, but as of late I have been seeing numerous reports about bodies found scattered across New England.

What is Going On in New England?

According to recent reports, remains have been found of 8 different people from Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

The remains, which according to People.com belong to mostly women, were first recovered in March of 2025 and he most recent body found on April 22nd, 2025 in Springfield, Massachusetts, not far from the NBA Hall of Fame.

Their cause of death has not been released at this time.

2 of the bodies found were located not too far from the Hudson Valley in Norwalk and Stamford Connecticut.

Many online are speculating that this could be the work of a New England serial killer. If so, should we be concerned in New York State?

In this day and age one should always be aware of their surroundings. But should we believe everything we read on the internet?

While the information of these New England killings has gone viral, so has the theory that there is a serial killer at the center of it all. These are some serious allegations and one that communities take seriously.

Should we be worried about a New England serial killer?

Police officers have come forward to ease the minds in their communities. Norwalk CT Police Department Lt. Tomasz Podgorski told People "Based on our investigation, there is no indication of foul play or relation to any other death or serial killer."

Below are individuals with ties to the Capital Region and Upstate New York. They have been designated as some of New York's Most Wanted Fugitives and should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.

Groton Conneticut Police Chief Louis Fusaro told reports "‘Don’t rush to judgment" and the New Haven CT Public Information Officer Christian Bruckhard told People that an autopsy was done that was found in their community and "there was nothing to indicate that she was murdered.”

We'll be keeping a close eye on this story as details come in.

The Hudson Valley's Most Notorious Serial Killer: Kendal Francois

While the alleged New England serial killer hasn't attacked in the Empire State,  the Hudson Valley is known for one of the most notorious serial killers ever, Kendal Francois.

In the 90s, Francois took the lives of 8 women and hid their bodies in and around his home that he shared with this parents in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Later, he was charged with 8 counts of 1st-degree murder, 8 counts of second-degree murder and 1 count of assault. Francois was serving a life sentence until his death in 2014.
