My Dream Dancing with Stars Cast.

The new cast of Dancing with the Stars has been announced, and while there are some notable names ( Danica McKellar  from "The Wonder Years, Drew Carey host of the "Price is Right", and Charlie White & Meryl Davis, Olympic gold medal ice skating winners) along with some firsts for the show,(1st time an athlete from the NHL will compete-Sean Avery and the 1st time a contestant is a double-amputee-Amy Purdy, the Olympic snowboarder) many of the "celebrity" dancers are, well, a bit too unknown to qualify for Star status.(no offense intended)

What if I could create my dream DWTS cast, who would the 12 contestants be?

1. Blake Shelton, his tweets alone would be worth watching the show for.

2. Steven Tyler, just think how amazing his costumes would be!

3. Jennifer Lawrence, she seems really down to earth and I think she'd be one of the few A-list stars who would have fun with it and that would be great to see.

4. Robin Roberts, She is such an inspiration to so many people, including myself. I think she would bring grace, elegance, and joy to the show.

5. Jimmy Fallon, yes I know the show is on a competing network and it would never happen, but hey, this is my dream casting...he would be hilarious(imagine the outtakes) if he was on the show I would never miss an episode, no matter what!

6. Tom Hanks, I always feel that you get to know a little more about a celebrity when they are on the show, and Tom seems like the type of guy that you'd want to know more about, plus I think he has a great sense of humor and timing, which would serve him well on the show.

7. Hugh Jackman, do I really need to say anything else?

8. Heidi Klum, she's beautiful and I'm not sure there's anything she can't do, besides if I can have Hugh Jackman, you guys can have Heidi Klum!

9. Tina Fey, she's smart, talented, and very funny. She would bring life back into the show!

10. Brett Michaels, here's another celebrity that has shown a lot of range, trying different things, and not being afraid, besides every female who was in junior high or high school during the 80's would tune in!

11. Luke Bryan, the amount of energy he would bring to the dance floor would be amazing, besides knowing him and Blake, they'd probably do an impromptu dance together and bring the house down!

12. Dolly Parton, she's a legend, she's provided jobs and opportunities to those in and around her hometown, and I love how frank she is and how she can make fun of herself too.

So, there it is my list, simply my opinion and just to round things out, here's a list of people whom I would never want to see on DWTS, because, well, life is too short : Miley Cyrus, anyone with Kardashian or Jenner as their last names, Justin Bieber, Madonna, Donald Trump, Kanye West, and I'm sure I can add to this, but I'll stop here.
