Wrapping up 2014 in style, that's what this week's Music FYI is all about.

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest  just got a whole lot better! Florida Georgia Line will perform a medley of "Cruise," "This Is How We Roll" and their latest single, "Sun Daze" on the show December 31 at 8 p.m. on ABC. Other performs include Taylor Swift, Idina Menzel, One Direction and Meghan Trainor. Look for more stars to be added to the New Year's Rockin' Eve lineup soon.

Congratulations to Chris Young, he will be honored along with Josh Groban as the 2015 Alumni Honorees at the National YoungArts Foundation's Backyard Ball January 10 in Miami. The YoungArts program recognizes outstanding young artists in the literary, visual, design and performing arts. Chris was a 2003 YoungArts Winner and was also singled out as a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts when he was a high school senior. Visual artist Jeff Koons will also be honored at the Backyard Ball. Previous honorees at this fundraiser include Scandal's Kerry Washington, Robert Redford, and Girls star Andrew Rannells. Way to go Jason Aldean! He scored the first platinum country album of 2014 with his latest album, "Old Boots, New Dirt". The album came out just eight weeks ago and topped the Billboard 200 chart with more than 280,000 copies sold in the first week.
