Mold Found at Another Hudson Valley School
Yet another Hudson Valley school is facing a mold problem.
School is now in session throughout the Hudson Valley and since the first day, several schools have encountered mold problems.
It was reported back on Sept. 14 that mold was found at Elm Drive Elementary in the Millbrook School District. Last week it was announced that Elm Drive will be closed for six week as the mold remediation was underway.
Wingdale Elementary and Dover Elementary were both closed during the week of Sept. 17 also due to mold.
Now it seems a local college has moved over 200 students out of their dorms because of yet another mold problem.
ABC 7NY is reporting that Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh has moved 200 plus students to "off-campus housing, including hotels in the towns of Newburgh and Fishkill."
According to the report, "Authorities say all rooms in Sakac Hall are being checked as a precaution for mold."
There is no word yet on when the students will be moved back to Sakac Hall.
