New York State Police Looking For Missing Wappingers Falls Teen
On Friday January 24th, 2025, the New York State Police released a statement in hopes of finding a Dutchess County teen who has been missing for almost a week.
According to the New York State Police 16-year-old Daisyana Suscal was last seen on Saturday January 18th, 2025. The teen left her house in Wappingers Falls in the early morning hours.
Daisyana is described as a Hispanic female with brown eyes and black hair. She is reportedly 5ft tall and weighs about 120lbs. According to the report she was last seen wearing Christmas pajama pants with a grey shirt and a gold necklace with a cross.

The New York State Police are asking the public if they have any information on Daisyana.
According to the post, Daisyana is known to visit the areas in and around Peekskill, Cortland, and Ossining. Her last known location was in the City of Peekskill, outside of the Church of The Assumption.

In 2024, a ""first-of-its-kind Missing Child Rescue Operation" successfully reunited over 45 missing children with their families.

The children were reported missing around the Amherst and Buffalo regions of Western New York. It was reported that the children were found through a "unique collaboration" between the Missing Persons Clearinghouse at the Division of Criminal Justice Services as well as the National Child Protection Task Force, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children along with law enforcement.
