Missing Man Last Seen in Ulster County, New York
There is currently a search going on for a missing person in Ulster County. According to the Town of Esopus, the Esopus Fire Department, and the New York State Police their agency and others are looking for Wayne Nickerson.
Apparently, the search began last night (September 25, 2023) when Wayne Nickerson, age 49 was reported missing. The reason the search is centered around the Esopus area is this is his last seen location.
Missing Hudson Valley Man Last Seen in Ulster County, New York
According to all the reports being shared on social media, Mr. Nickerson who is 5 feet 6 inches tall white male with green eyes and blond hair was last seen at approximately 5:30 PM on September 25, 2023, near 161 West Main Street in the town of Esopus. Nickerson was wearing a black shirt and gray pants.

Missing Man in Ulster County Last Seen on ATV
Nickerson was apparently on a green All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) when he was last seen so there is a chance he is no longer in the area of West Main Street. If you believe you have seen him or you have information that can aid agencies in helping find Mr. Nickerson the New York State Police at the Highland Barracks are asking you to call 845-691-2922

The Town of Esopus Supervisor Danielle Freer shared on social media the residents should expect to hear and see first responder activity throughout the afternoon as the search continues.
