Midland concluded their 2019 Electric Rodeo Tour with a Sunday night (May 5) show at the Ryman Auditorium, and in addition to selling out the historic Nashville venue, the country trio had a few surprises in their setlist. Their encore included a cover of Chris Isaak's hit "Wicked Game" -- and an appearance from Isaak himself.

Readers can press play above to see a snippet of Isaak's performance with Midland. The California rocker was decked out in a sparkling jacket and pants that glittered, too; after all, he had to keep up with Midland's sharp onstage looks.

Midland have been known to include "Wicked Game" in their setlists: Setlist.fm shows that they performed the song during some shows in late 2018 and early 2019. Written by Isaak for his 1989 album Heart Shaped World, "Wicked Game" became a hit after being featured in David Lynch's 1990 film Wild at Heart. The song reached No. 2 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks and No. 6 on the all-genre Hot 100.

According to the Tennessean, "Wicked Game" was one of a number of covers in Midland's Ryman set. The trio also welcomed Brooks & Dunn to the stage for a performance of their song "Boot Scootin' Boogie," which Midland recorded with the duo for the recent Reboot album.

Midland recently released a new single, "Mr. Lonely," which is their first from a forthcoming sophomore record. Details of that project have yet to be announced.
