Midland lead singer Mark Wystrach and his wife, Ty Haney, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Sundance "Sunny" Leon Haney-Wystrach. The announcement comes after a "wild and unexpected" week that found them facing down a medical emergency so dire it forced Miland to postpone their upcoming overseas tour.

The country singer and Haney, who is the CEO of the Outdoor Voices clothing company, welcomed baby Sunny prior to Thanksgiving Day, and then spent a week in the hospital following an undisclosed medical complication. Midland's label, Big Machine, turned to social media on Friday (Nov. 29) to announce that they were having to postpone their tour of the UK, which included dates in early December set for Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield and London. The official announcement explained that Wystrach needs to be home with his family, but did not delve into the nature of the complications.

Haney turned to her private social media account later that day to provide fans with an update, writing, "Sundance ‘Sunny’ Leon came into this world with a bang! It’s been a wild and unexpected week in the hospital, but we are all doing great and loving being together!"
